This session is for the absolute beginner to learn the terminology of SQL Server performance tuning and how queries are processed. We will also briefly discuss table structures and the differences between Heaps and Clustered Indexes. The session is led by an expert Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Microsoft MVP who regularly teaches the SQL Server certification courses.

12:15 PM - 1:15 PM  Analyzing Excel Data with Lookup Functions
Leverage the power of Excel by using named ranges and Lookup functions to help you find your data quickly and efficiently. This session will focus on Excel data analysis using these exceptional functions.
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Calculating and Analyzing Data with Excel IF Statements
Summarized data using SUMIF, AVERAGEIF and COUNTIF. Then nexting with logical functions and handling errors with IFERROR. This event will have a ROI of time recovered, from data analysis.
2:45 PM - 3:45 PM Creating Dashboards with PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services
PowerBI is Microsoft's premiere business analytics service, and is based on a self-service model. This presentation will demonstrate all aspects of the business intelligence process, from acquiring data from original sources, to creating an intuitive data model, to the presentation of results in dashboard style reports.
